    • Reinstall and open WhatsApp;
    • Confirm your phone number when prompted to;
    • Continue with the initial settings procedure until asked if you wish to restore messages from a backup on the cloud;
    • Choose to restore messages from Google Drive when asked, then tap on “Restore”;
    • When the restoration procedure is complete, tap “next”.




    After the messages are fully restored, the app will continue to restore media files in the background. You can access your messages and send new ones while this is going on.

    This process is done automatically after you decline using Google Drive backups when setting up WhatsApp for the first time after download.     • Download and install WhatsApp, but don’t open it yet;
    • Using a file manager app on the phone you created the local backups, access the local storage or “sdcard” folder, then open the “WhatsApp” folder;
    • Open the “Databases” folder;
    • Copy all files in it, then transfer them to the “Databases” folder in your new phone;

    • With the local backup files on the correct folder, open WhatsApp for the first time after installing it;
    • Confirm your phone number when prompted to;
    • Continue with the initial settings procedure until asked if you wish to restore messages from a cloud backup. Decline and proceed;
    • When asked if you wish to restore messages from a local backup, tap “Restore” to accept;
    • When the restoration procedure is complete, tap “next”.

    Just remember, there is no way for you to learn how to recover deleted whatsapp messages without backup, since this is impossible. If you have no backups whatsoever, then your deleted messages are permanently lost.
